"My wife and I had the best time helping to host a local Samhian
celebration on Saturday," Dave said to Galileo as he was waiting for his
Monday cup of dark java. "Really cool stuff. Great food, cool people,
drumming and dancing. The weather was perfect. It was a dream come true
for me personally. We have been working toward a night like that for
years. It all clicked Saturday."

Dave takes his drink and sits by the fire. "I sure hope this place stays
open for a long time," he thinks to himself. "It may not be very full,
but it's very comfy and relaxing. I'm getting into the habit of coming
here for work breaks and a morning cuppa."

"Happy Hallowe'en! Glad your weekend was fabulous. There was a great
Samhain celebration at the Jefferson Memorial as well. I wasn't there
-- too far away. But I heard it was huge." Diana grabs the last
caramel apple off of the platter on the counter (well, she made them,
didn't she?) and plunks down a bag of celophane-wrapped popcorn balls.
"I'm heading for home to get ready for the trick-or-treaters."

"That sounds wonderful. I would love to have attended that!
Thanks for the popcorn balls." Dave enjoys a popcorn ball
with his coffee. A nicer combination than he figured at first.
