Is this ng having problems?

It's not unusual for no one to be posting, but I don't seem to even be
connecting. This isn't happening on other ng's -- just wondered if anyone
else is experiencing this ( and whether my post will show up!)

Hmmm...

Don't know about the group, but my computer has been having modem
problems. I got me an external modem, and things seem peachy now.

I think it's just dead... with all the other crap on the internet,
nobody has time for these "spam magnets".

I think there's a problem upstream somewhere (not all posts are visible on
all ISPs). I can see replies, but not the original posts. In my case, I'm
wondering if there was some sort of time-out/expiration thing as I haven't
logged on in days and days...

Oh well...will eventually have to go onto Google to see the full text to
which James replied...
