"My" team is losing in the NCAA tournament.

& I had to work late tonight (and still have lots to do tomorrow to get
caught up)

& I had to scrape my car windshield

& my daughter's laptop is acting funny

& the dog threw up yesterday

& I've got to take Vytorin to control my cholesterol

& my left hand mysteriously goes numb at random moments.

But

The Vytorin has been working with no ill effects

& the dog seems to be fine

& the daughter got a scholarship to college

& winter is almost over.

Oh, dear.

"My" team is Florida, so I'm very happy with the tournament.

I do seem to have rather a lot of work to catch up on myself.

I haven't had to scrape my windshield for the past 29 years.

One of my hard drives bit the dust before I could back it up. It was
old, had no necessary data on it, but was filled with goodies that I
really hated to lose.

My cat barfed a hairball on Saturday, but this tends to happen about
once a month.

I'm a bit panicked about my mother's recent 3 falls in two weeks.

I hope you'll consult a neurologist about that hand. It could be any
number of harmless conditions, or a couple that might really need to be
treated.

I'll join you in being proud of your super daughter!

And, yeah, spring is right around the corner. One of the things I loved
about living in a cold climate years ago was how the winters made spring
the absolutely loveliest experience imaginable.

Hang in, life is good. (Good and hard, sometimes, but gotta love it.)

I was cheering for Duke. I'm still cheering for their women.

I reinstalled the LinkSys drivers, and the computer seems to be OK now.

Oh, I can understand that. My mother-in-law had similar problems, after
a stroke. She did *NOT* want to move out of the family home. The
family finally made a bargain with her. She'd spend 3 months in an
assisted living apartment, to see if she recovered enough to live on her
own. After a couple of months, she agreed to stay. They made sure she
ate properly, took the meds she needed, etc.

The doc sent me for an ultrasound, to check on some swelling. I need to
bother them about what they found.

It'd be boring if things always went smooth as silk.

I've always liked Duke & Coach K. Surprised me that they lost out so
soon. Hope the women do well.

Me, too.

Duke and Connecticut had a game for the ages to decide the regional
final. Duke, LSU, North Carolina and Maryland - 3 #1 seeds, and a 2.

LSU is this year's center of the basketball universe, with men and women
both in the finals.
