machine and writes on it. He then posts his note on the bulletin board.

"Gemini called to let everyone know that her daughter's race went well.
She placed 4th overall. Her time was her best ever by 3 minutes.
She's been named an alternate to the USA Jr team for the Pan Am Games."

A small puff of colorful confetti followed by a burst of applause emanates
from the big comfortable chair in the corner where Diana has been sitting
with her nose in a book (as usual).
