"Time," Diana is thinking, "is fickle. It lags, it rushes by, I often
lose my place in it, but always there is the thread of it."

As she opens the door to the old place, she feels both the forward and
the back. And yet they seem the same.

"Hello, Gemini, Jennifer Peters, if you still stop by. If so, you are
the only one besides me, and you are more faithful than I am. Since
it's coming up on St. Patrick's Day, I'm thinking of setting u a crock
pot of corned beef and cabbage. Maybe we'll cross paths again."

Gemini stops in at the place, and smells corned beef.

"Set me up!" she tells the server. "I know I'm late for St. Pat's. I
was watching the green flow down the river. No green beer for me, though."

Gemini digs into the corned beef for a bit.

"Still have shamrock sundaes for dessert? The ones with no calories?"
